Best Apple Prime Day 2022 Early Deals: MacBooks, iPads, AirPods, And More Friv 0

Friv0 games online free See more

Apple Prime Day deals are always a big draw of the event, but you don’t have to wait for things to kick off on July 12 to start saving. A variety of MacBooks and iPads are currently available at a discount leading up to Prime Day 2022, as are a bunch of products in the AirPod family.

Finding a good discount on Apple products is challenging--not only are sales rare, but they typically don’t offer very large price cuts. So if any of the electronics below catch your eye, now might be the best time to make a purchase. Several other retailers are running competing sales for Prime Day--and if they managed to beat Amazon’s prices, we’ve listed them below.

More Prime Day deals

From MacBooks and AirPods to iPads and the Apple Watch, here are the best Apple Prime Day deals. We'll add more deals to this list over the coming days.

MacBook Pro 2021 14" with M1 Pro

$200 off

Both the 512GB and 1TB models are currently discounted by $200, listed at $1800 and $2300, respectively. Regardless of which you pick, you’ll be treated to Apple’s premium 14-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, and a six-speaker sound system for impressive audio. Both also come with the powerful M1 Pro--although the 512GB model features a 14-core GPU and 8-core CPU, while the 1TB model bumps that to a 16-core GPU and 10-core CPU.

MacBook Pro 2021 16" with M1 Pro

$200 off

The MacBook Pro 2021 16-inch is nearly identical to the 14-inch MacBook Pro, although you’ll benefit from a larger screen. You’ll pay a bit more for that extra real estate (the 512GB model is $2300, down from $2500), but this is still one of the best prices of the year for the popular 16-inch MacBook. If you need some extra storage space, consider springing for the 1TB version that’s discounted to $2500, down from $2700.

MacBook Air 2020

$1,150 ($1,250)

If you don’t mind picking up an older model, the MacBook Air 2020 is available with a $100 price cut. You’ll get the M1 Chip, a 13-inch Retina display, 512GB SSD, and 8GB RAM. All that power is packed into a slim, eye-catching design (although only the Silver and Gold variants are on sale). One of the most impressive achievements of the MacBook Air 2020 is its battery life, which will last you up to 18 hours before needing a recharge.

MacBook Pro 2022 with M2 Chip

$1300

While the MacBook Pro 2022 isn’t currently on sale, we’d be shocked if it didn’t get a price cut during Prime Day. This 13-inch laptop has a lot going for it, including a 256GB SSD, 8GB RAM, and the new M2 Chip. The M2 Chip is actually less powerful than the M1 Pro, but the MacBook Pro 2022’s base price of $1300 makes it a great option for folks seeking an Apple product under $1500.

iPad Pro 12.9-inch 2021

$1100 ($1200)

With the same M1 chip as the MacBook lineup, the iPad Pro 12.9-inch 2021 is a true alternative to a traditional laptop. The 256GB WiFi model is discounted by $100, and it offers a robust suite of cameras (12MP wide, 10MP ultra-wide, and a LiDAR scanner), a Liquid Retina XDR display, and four speakers for crisp sound. If you need a bit more storage space, the 2TB model is $200 off, the 512GB model is $50 off, and the 1TB model is $70 off.

iPad Pro 11-inch 2021

$750 ($800)

Another iPad Pro, another viable laptop alternative. This one is a bit more portable than the 12.9-inch model above thanks to its 11-inch screen, but you’ll still benefit from a Liquid Retina display and the same set of cameras (12MP wide, 10MP ultra-wide, and a LiDAR scanner). If you don’t mind the smaller size, you can save a bundle of cash--the 256GB model is on sale for $750, down from $800. You’ll also find the 128GB and 512GB models available with a $50 price cut, the 1TB model with a $70 price cut, and the 2TB with a $100 price cut.

iPad 2021

$310 ($330)

Instead of the M1 Chip, the iPad 2021 comes with the A13 Bionic--which makes it more in line with the latest iPhones than MacBooks. However, its 10.2-inch Retina display makes it great for gaming, streaming movies, or just scrolling through social media. The 64GB model is available for just $310, although the 256GB model is also discounted by $50.

Apple AirPods Pro

$200 ($250)

Prime Day might bring us a steeper discount on the always-popular AirPods Pro, but this $50 discount is already pretty generous. The wireless earbuds offer active noise canceling to block out ambient sound, three different sizes of silicone eartips, adaptive EQ to help tune the music to your specific ears, and 24 hours of listening time with the MagSafe Charging Case. They’re also sweat- and water-resistant, making them a solid gym companion. Be sure to swing back in the coming days to see if better deals materialize, although the current discount is nothing to scoff at.

AirPods with Wireless Charging Case

$165 ($199)

If you’re not a fan of the AirPods Pro eartips (or its price tag), you can snag the more affordable AirPods and their Charging Case for just $165, down from $199. With a universal design that fits all ears, Siri functionality, and 24 hours of battery life with the included Charging Case, all iPhone owners should find something to love about the AirPods--especially at this price.

AirPods Max

$480 ($549)

Apple went all-out with the AirPods Max, crafting a premium set of headphones that carry a suitably premium price tag. Not only do they feature Apple-designed drivers and active noise cancelation for vivid sound, but they’re built with the H1 chip to help produce custom listening experiences based on your listening preferences. Rounding out the package is a sleek, lightweight design that makes the Apple AirPods Max comfortable during prolonged listening sessions.

Apple Watch SE (GPS + Cellular model)

$310 ($350)

Few smartwatches offer the functionality and style of the Apple Watch SE. Amazon is now giving you a chance to snag the highly reviewed watch for just $310, down from $350. This is the GPS + Cellular model, which gives you all the functionality of your iPhone without the need to bring it with you. Aside from making texts and calls, the Apple Watch SE also comes with the usual assortment of fitness trackers, such as a heart rate monitor and sleep tracker.

Apple Watch SE (GPS-only model)

$230 ($280)

Don’t need cellular functionality in your Apple Watch? Consider picking up the GPS-only model that’s on sale for $230, down from $280. Aside from the lack of support for cellular networks, this model is almost identical to its more expensive sibling. The only discernible difference in design is the lack of a red ring on the crown.

Apple Watch Series 7

$330+

All versions of the Apple Watch Series 7 are currently discounted by $70 at Amazon. The cheapest way to snag the deluxe watch is by opting for the 41mm GPS only model--which is listed for $330. All products in the lineup come with an always-on Retina display, customizable bands, and health features such as a pedometer and heart rate monitor. This is another product that might get big discounts on Prime Day, so stay tuned in the coming days for updates.
