When Avengers Campus opens up at Disneyland Resort’s Disney California Adventure, get ready to come face-to-face with a long list of Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes--and a couple of villains, too. The new theme park expansion will include the largest assembly of in-costume Marvel characters yet, with the characters previously seen wandering around California Adventure, plus some new additions.

The available characters will also reinforce the idea that Avengers Campus is not set in the main MCU timeline. While characters like Iron Man, Gamora, and Black Widow are dead following the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, you’ll be able to meet them in the new land. What’s more, new characters can be introduced to the area as Marvel Studios releases films. A primary example is that the villainous Taskmaster, who will be introduced in the Black Widow film, will appear in Avengers Campus on day one.
