For those with a Steam Deck--or planning to get one soon--the Steam Autumn Sale has begun, marking the Black Friday shopping holiday with loads of the best deals on PC games. It's a great time to load the handheld up with games that you can take with you on the go. The Steam Black Friday sale will run for one week, ending on November 28 at 10 AM PT. While we've already highlighted broadly some of what we think are the best Steam Autumn Sale deals, here we're focusing in on games that are well-suited to being played on a Steam Deck.
The Steam Deck has been a hardware hit for Valve, letting you take your PC collection on the go with a Switch-like form factor. And since it's from Valve, it's built to work easily with your existing Steam collection. Steam games that have been tested and confirmed to work well on Deck are marked as Verified with a green badge, and it's a selection of those that we've highlighted below.
Valve appears to be looking to support the Steam Deck platform for the long haul, including producing a new Steam Deck OLED model and discounting the older, LCD models.
