With WWE Wrestlemania 2023 now firmly in the rearview mirror, we can now look back on the two-night event and marvel at how many marquee matches blew the audience away. Don't believe that? Well, make sure to check out our Wrestlemania 39 Night 1 and Night 2 reviews for an idea of what it was like inside of SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. There's more to Wrestlemania than the big show, though. There are WWE's various weekly shows that also take place over the weekend. More importantly, though, there's the Wrestlemania Superstore, which is much more than a place to buy the latest merchandise.
The Superstore also serves as a WWE museum, showcasing upcoming action figures, props, and some truly iconic costumes from throughout the company's long history. From displays highlighting the 2023 inductees in the WWE Hall of Fame, to beloved legends and the company's current top stars, WWE has done an incredible job of collecting superstar costumes over the years, keeping them in pristine condition for fans to see up close at the Wrestlemania Superstore. For those that don't travel to Wrestlemania, though, this is a piece of the event they don't get to experience.
Until now, that is. While at Wrestlemania, GameSpot visited the Superstore to document the costumes to share with those who weren't able to make the voyage to Southern California for Wrestlemania 39. Take a look below at the costumes on display and sound off with your favorite in the comments. And while you're going through these, pay attention to the details: It's shocking how intricate some of these costumes are (we're looking at you, Bianca Belair).
Ric Flair
This is the robe Ric Flair wore in his first retirement match at Wrestlemania 24 against Shawn Michaels.
The Undertaker
This is Undertaker's signature hat and duster.
Cody Rhodes
This is the jacket and boots Rhodes wore during his WWE return match against Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 38.
Andy Kaufman
Though he never wrestled for WWE, Kaufman is now enshrined in the WWE Hall of Fame. The outfit pictured was what he wore in the ring, along with his custom Intergender Wrestling Championship title.
The Great Muta
Pictured is Muta's gear from his 2023 retirement match.
Jimmy Hart
This is Hart's iconic wardrobe, complete with his piano tie.
Mr. Perfect
This is Mr. Perfect's signature blue singlet. The Perfect One always kept things simple.
Miss Elizabeth
This is the top Elizabeth was wearing at Wrestlemania 7 when she reunited with "Macho Man" Randy Savage
The Barbarian
This is the Barbarian's entrance gear. This is also officially the longest anyone has discussed Barbarian ever.
Savio Vega
Pictured is Savio Vega's signature attire from the '90s.
Trish Stratus
This is Trish's gear from Wrestlemania 2000 when she was still managing T&A.
Rey Mysterio
Three of Rey Mysterio's outfits are on display here. Most notable is the purple gear, which he wore at WCW Halloween Havoc in a match against Eddie Guerrero. The gear inspired by The Flash dates back to his appearance at Wrestlemania 20.
Bianca Belair
This is Belair's ring gear from Wrestlemania 38.
The Undertaker
This is an early Undertaker costume when he was still a mortician in WWE lore.
Sami Zayn
This is the gear Sami wore for his match against Johnny Knoxville at Wrestlemania 38. Also pictured is the giant mousetrap Knoxville caught him in.
Asuka
Seen above is the robe and mask Asuka wore on her march to the ring at Wrestlemania 37.
Booker T
This is the robe and crown Booker T wore during his King Booker phase. This particular gear was used at Summerslam 2007.
Triple H
Long before he was "The Game" or the head of WWE creative, Triple H was billed as Hunter Hearst Helmsley, a fancy pants "Connecticut blueblood." Given how fancy he was supposed to be, he often wore this ridiculous tuxedo.
Roddy Piper and Goldust
This was the gear these men wore for their Hollywood Backlot Brawl at Wrestlemania 12.
The Miz
Seen above is a collection of The Miz's gear from over the years, including his ill-advised fedora.
Stacy Keibler
This is the gear Stacy wore when she was partnered with the Dudley Boyz.
Rey Mysterio
Lastly, one final Rey Mysterio costume: Rey wore this chest piece to the ring at Wrestlemania 22.
