A new Pokemon game means a new generation of pocket monsters to hunt, battle, and collect. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet looks set to continue that catch 'em all tradition, and ahead of its release later in 2022, you can expect a constant trickle of reveals for the next game in the long-running series.
Three of those new Pokemon--Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly--have already been revealed, and the new region that you'll explore is also filled with other Pokemon from across the entire history of the series. Classic Pokemon such as Meowth and Pikachu are roaming the land, while other Pokemon generations are represented by the likes of Lucario, Stonjourner, and more. It remains to be seen if there'll be regional versions of familiar Pokemon--an idea that first debuted in Pokemon Sun and Moon--but for now, here's every confirmed Pokemon so far, as well as their evolutions.

Nintendo also revealed a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Switch OLED model, which dresses the console up in a selection of vibrant colors and legendary Pokemon. Just in time for Halloween, there's also a new trailer that introduces the spooky Ghost-type dog Graveard.
Sprigatito
A capricious and attention-seeking Grass-type Pokemon, Sprigatito has a feline design and its special ability Overgrow can amplify its elemental attacks when it's in a bind.
Fuecoco
A laid-back Pokemon, this Fire-type crocodile does things at its own pace and can turn up the heat with its Blaze special ability.
Quaxly
Described as an earnest and tidy duckling Pokemon, Quaxly enhances its Water-type attacks with its Torrent special ability when the going gets tough.
Graveard
A very good Ghost-type, Graveard will follow anyone who gives it attention and is happy to play with them. The only downside to having this adorable pooch around is that it will slowly and inadvertently absorb the life-force of those around it.
Bellibolt
The partner pocket monster of gym leader Iono, Bellibolt is known as the EleFrog Pokemon. Bellibolt can expand and contract its body to generate electricity in an organ that resembles a belly button, and once it has enough power, it'll discharge the energy from the two bumps on either side of its head that resemble eyeballs.
Farigiraf
The evolved form of Girafarig, Farigiraf retains the Psychic and Normal-Type attributes of the original Pokemon but with a new topsy-turvy design. The head of its main body and the head from its tail have fused together, allowed for increased psychic energy that it uses for punishing attacks or to help it stay alert in the dangerous Paldean environment. If its mental powers aren't enough, its long neck can be used to clobber enemies and is said to have enough force to pulverize stone and crush steel beams.
Wiglett
The garden-eel Pokemon, Wiglett boasts an exceptional sense of smell, which it uses to detect other nearby pocket monsters. If it smells any other Pokemon near it, Wiglett will burrow into the sand to conceal itself. It's still unclear what the rest of its body hidden in the sand is like or how long it might be, and its resemblance to Diglett is said to be coincidental.
Armarouge
An armored Pokemon that can enhance its defense, this Fire and Psychic-type hybrid uses its unique warrior skills to unleash devastating firepower on the battlefield. Armarouge is exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet.
Ceruledge
Only available in Pokemon Violet, Ceruledge serves as a counterpart to Armarouge and is a Fire and Ghost-type Pokemon. It wears an old set of armor steeped in grudges and wields blades made of fire and ghost energy.
Klawf
Found on cliffs, Klawf is known as the Ambush Pokemon as it latches onto surfaces and pounces onto its prey from above. They can't stay in that position or all the blood will rush to their heads, but this Rock-type Pokemon will crush you if you wander into its trap.
Grafaiai
Step aside Smeargle, there's a new artistic Pokemon in town! Grafaiai is described as a moody Pokemon with a mercurial nature, and it lives a solitary life. Constantly engaging in territorial fights with other Pokemon, Grafaiai specializes in using its poisonous saliva in a variety of ways. It can use it as a projectile spitting attack or coat its claws in the toxic substance. The Normal and Poison-Type hybrid also has a fondness for eating Bug-type Pokemon, and it regularly lures in its prey by coating trees with its saliva, which has a sweet scent to it.
Fidough
Another delicious addition to the Paldea region, Fidough has elastic skin that it uses to intimidate its opponents by puffing up its bodies to appear bigger. Known as the Puppy Pokemon, this Fairy-type is also beloved for the yeast that it produces and has been protected by people across multiple ages.
Cetitan
A gigantic Ice-type Pokemon with massive muscles, Cetitan migrate around the snowy regions and are protected by a thick layer of fat. If they get into trouble, they can use their formidable might to unleash incredible power.
Paldean Wooper
Having made the swim from the Johto region to Paldea, this hybrid Poison and Ground-type Pokemon lost a battle for territory and now lives in the bogs. To keep from drying out while living on land, Wooper began to cover their bodies with a poisonous film which had the side-effect of making them heavier and slower.
Not much is known about Koraidon--one of the two legendary Pokemon of Scarlet and Violet--but it is said to have powers that far surpass those of other Pokemon.
Like Koraidon, Miraidon is a creature shrouded in mystery and rumored to possess incredible power.
LeChonk
Lechonk is a Normal-type Pokemon and is described as a gourmand with an excellent nose. Incredibly strong and fast, LeChonk is surprisingly timid and will dash away from danger. As a result of its dining habits, it has come to radiate an aroma resembling herbs that bug Pokmon dislike.
Pawmi
Pawmi is an Electric-type mouse Pokemon that has electricity-discharging organs on its forepaws. It generates electricity by rubbing its cheeks, then shocks opponents by touching them with its front paws.
Smoliv
Smoliv is one of the Pokemon used by Nemona, your friend. It produces an incredibly bitter oil from the top of its head that is not suitable for consumption, which it uses as a self-defense mechanism when startled. Should it be surprised, Smoliv will fire the oil at an enemy and run away.
