Apex Legends Mobile's second season, Distortion, is now live--as is the Distortion battle pass, which contains 50 levels of cosmetics, currency, and other loot for players to unlock as they progress through the new season's challenges.
Just like the previous two battle passes, the Distortion battle pass comes in two forms: the Premium Pass and the Premium Pass Plus. The Premium Pass costs 799 Syndicate Gold (about $8 USD) and immediately unlocks the Legendary-tier Rose-tinted Visor Loba skin, the Legendary Blast Adapter R-301 weapon skin, and two Rhapsody pieces, which can be used to unlock the newest mobile-exclusive Legend for free once 10 pieces are collected.
The Premium Pass Plus costs 1,599 Syndicate Gold (roughly $16 USD) and rewards players who purchase it with an extra 500,000 battle pass XP, which will instantly boost them to level 10 of the battle pass. These players will also receive an exclusive avatar frame for their profile, in addition to the same perks and skins as the standard Premium Pass.
But neon, cyberpunk-esque cosmetics aren't the only thing the new battle pass has to offer. In addition to stat trackers for Rhapsody, Wraith, Bangalore, Loba, Fade, and Mirage, players who purchase the Distortion battle pass will receive the following currencies and Warehouse inventory items:
Rhapsody Pieces come in pairs of two, and are unlocked at levels 1, 9, 13, 17, and 25. Collect all 10 to unlock Rhapsody for free.
Pack Pieces are a new type of reward that come in sets of five. For every 10 Pack Pieces you collect, you will receive one common-tier Syndicate Pack, allowing you to unlock random cosmetic items from the standard loot pool. Pack pieces can be found at levels 2, 3, 12, 14, 21, 28, 32, 34, 36, 38, 42, and 44.
Syndicate Packs have mostly been replaced by Pack Pieces, but there are still two complete Syndicate Packs in this battle pass--you can find them at level 37 and 47.
Syndicate Gold, the game's premium currency, comes in sets of 50 coins and can be found at levels 2, 4, 9, 13, 16, 19, 23, 26, 29, 33, 38, 41, 43, 46, and 49. At level 49, you will receive 100 Syndicate Gold instead of 50.
Flux, the currency used to redeem cosmetics in the Crafting section of the in-game store, comes in sets of 20, and can be found at levels 4, 19, 23, 27, 37, 41, 42, and 48. Players will receive two sets of Flux at level 48.
Mission Cards come in sets of four, and are used to automatically complete season challenges that players cannot or do not wish to participate in. Mission Cards are available at levels 6, 7, 11, 16, 18, 21, 22, 24, 26, 29, 31, 33, 39 (x2), and 43.
In addition to all of this season's cosmetic rewards, players who complete the entire Distortion battle pass will unlock a total of:
- 10 Rhapsody Pieces
- 8 Syndicate Packs
- 800 Syndicate Gold
- 180 Flux
- 60 Mission Cards
