Though Amazon Prime Day doesn't officially start until July 12-13, Amazon always offers early Prime Day deals in the weeks leading up to the big sales event. This year is no different, as Amazon has a bunch of Fire TVs on sale for big discounts ahead of Prime Day 2022. All of the TVs featured have Amazon's Fire TV service built in, so you're getting smart TV functionality and easy access to all of your favorite streaming services out of the box. We've rounded up the best Prime Day TV deals so far. Whether you're looking for a big 4K TV for your living room or a budget secondary TV with streaming access, there's likely something in Amazon's sale that will interest you. From cheap Insignia and Amazon-branded TVs to higher-end Toshiba models, there's a solid variety of options up for grabs. Plus, the discounts are massive. Some of the TVs are seeing roughly 50% discounts.
Just like with all Prime Day deals, you have to be an Amazon Prime member to take advantage of these early deals. If you aren't a member already, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial to shop early deals as well as discounts during the main event. And gamers will definitely want to have Prime right now, as Amazon is currently giving away 25 free games for members, with more to come during Prime Day. You can also save big on Amazon's Luna controller, which is great for cloud streaming as well as regular PC gaming.
Toshiba Class M550 4K Fire TV

Toshiba's recently released M550 4K Smart Fire TV is a nice option for those looking for a new TV for their living room without breaking the bank. Available in three sizes--55, 65, and 75 inches--the M550 has impressive features for the price. it's equipped with DTS Virtual X audio and has Dolby Vision and HDR 10+. The M550 is on sale for 50% off or more, regardless of which size you choose.
The 75-inch model is only $700, the 65-inch is $500, and the 55-inch is just $350.
Toshiba C350 4K Smart Fire TV
Up to $170 off
If you want a TV from a trusted brand like Toshiba but want to save a bit of money, you can get the C350 model for even less. It has many of the same features as the M550, but it's lacking HDR 10+ (it has regular HDR 10) and is graded at a 120 Motion Rate rather than the 480 rate of the M550. If you plan on gaming a lot on your new TV, we'd recommend the M550.
You can choose between four different models at the sale price: 43" ($230), 50" ($290), 55" ($310), and 65" ($430).
Amazon Fire TV 43" 4K
$200 ($370)
Amazon's own 43-inch Fire TV is on sale for only $200. It could be a great choice as a secondary TV in your home. We wouldn't recommend this for someone who will mainly be using the TV for gaming. Still, at $200, you can't go wrong here.
Amazon Fire TV 55" Omni Series 4K
$300 ($560)
This 55-inch Omni Series 4K Fire TV is a step up from the Amazon TV above. It adds hands-free Alexa support and two-way video calling.
Insignia 42" Class F20 Series 1080p Fire TV
$170 ($270)
If you're shopping for a TV for the bedroom or maybe for a child and aren't worried about 4K video, you can save by picking up this 42-inch Insignia TV. It's still a smart TV with the Amazon Fire TV interface, but it's only capable of rendering video in 1080p resolution.
