Weapon sets are of vital importance for any class in The Elder Scrolls Online. While armor sets are equally as important, weapons will be what most players focus on. This is for good reason, as weapon sets, especially the best weapons, are a little more difficult to understand and find throughout the lands of ESO.
As with armor sets, players want to pick a weapon set that matches their build. If players are going for a Magicka DPS build, then they'll want a powerful staff. Healers will also want a staff but with different capabilities and buffs. Melee players have their pick of the litter depending on how they want to deal damage and whether or not they're more of a tank or Stamina user.

Point Blank Snipe Set
This is one of the best sets for ranged users in The Elder Scrolls Online. The Point Blank Snipe Set comes with a two-handed bow and a handful of buffs. Any bow user will want to take full advantage of this set, as they will gain increased damage done with the Snipe ability depending on how close they are to their target. If players want to make use of other weapons while still using this set, they can grab the Perfected version of it. This adds an extra 103 Weapon and Spell Damage, which comes in handy if players want to use some other skills while still wielding the bow. Players can find the Point Blank Snipe Set in Vateshran Hallows through the Markarth DLC.
Wrath of Elements Set
The Wrath of Elements allows players to select from one of three Destruction Staves. Players who use the Steadfast Ward skill will apply Major Vitality to their target for four seconds. This increases Healing Taken by 16%. The Mender's Ward staff can be used by a healer of any level to great effect. If players want to opt for the Perfected version, they will be granted an extra 103 Magicka Recovery. The final boss of Blackrose Prison drops this set. The Murkmire expansion is required in order to access this location.
Titanic Cleave
Another set that only features one item, that's all players are really going to need. Titanic Cleave comes with three two-handed weapons, being the Master's Greatsword, Maul, and Battle Axe. All three melee weapons are fantastic that can deal a gargantuan amount of damage. Of course, as the name suggests, players will also want to have access to the Cleave ability. When using this ability and set, players deal an extra 1,550 damage to each enemy within its range. With the Perfected version of any of the weapons, players will deal an extra 1,190 physical penetration. Players will have to work hard to obtain Titanic Cleave, however, as it's only accessible through the Dragonstar Arena in Craglorn.
Rampaging Slash
Rampaging Slash consists of arguably the best sword and shield set in ESO. Players have their pick between three one-handed weapons and a shield. Players with the Clockwork City DLC can acquire this set extremely easily, as it's earned through the Asylum Sanctorium Trial and Saint's Mercy quest. To earn the set, players need to beat the three bosses in the Beautified Coffer.
