The next Star Wars show on Disney+ is Obi-Wan Kenobi, a limited series that will follow the titular character on his post-Revenge of the Sith journey. But what does that mean? Well, the first teaser trailer for the show dropped, leaving us a lot of clues as to what Obi-Want will be up to.

More importantly, we're finally getting live-action Inquisitors for the first time--characters we've seen on animated series and in video games for years.

Obi-Wan stars Ewan McGregor reprising his role as the titular Jedi, who is tasked with watching over a young Luke Skywalker on Tatooine, as Obi-Wan--or Ben--lives out his days in the desert. The series also features Hayden Christensen returning as Darth Vader, Ruper Friend as the Grand Inquisitor, Joel Edgerton as Owen Laws, and Moses Ingram as Inquitistor Reva.

Below, you'll find our breakdown of the trailer, and everything we learned about the upcoming show. Also, there may be an Easter egg or two referencing other Star Wars projects.

Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives on Disney+ on May 25.

Tatooine… again

From the looks of the teaser, a lot of this limited series will take place on Tatooine--that desert planet Star Wars can't stay away from. The recent The Book of Boba Fett took place there, episodes of The Mandalorian did as well, and also the majority of Star Wars movies. For an outer rim planet, a bunch of important stuff sure does happen there.

We've been here before

This is most likely Mos Eisley. While it's not Tatooine's most famous or largest city--that honor goes to Mos Espa--this city has appeared a number of times. Maybe Obi-Wan will head to the cantina where he can indulge in some Jizz music--don't get mad at me, George Lucas came up with it.

Keeping watch

Obi-Wan has been keeping watch over a young Luke Skywalker, living at his uncle Owen's and aunt Beru's moisture farm.

Young Luke

Here's young Luke Skywalker, pretending to be a podracer on top of the Lars house. Everything about this image here is very reminiscent of when we first met Anakin Skywalker on Tatooine in The Phantom Menace.

Fortress Inquisitorius

Briefly, we see a giant black pyramid in the ocean. This is the Fortress Inquisitorius. It's on the moon Nur, which is in the Outer Rim in the Mustafar system. This is where the Inquisitors train, interrogate Jedi, etc. It was mentioned in a Darth Vader comic, but it made its first appearance in the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game.

Grand Inquisitor

So this actually threw me through a loop. This is the Grand Inquisitor--who has appeared many times in Star Wars Rebels. The reason I was "thrown through a loop" was because the actor playing the character doesn't really look like the character from the animated series--which has a very distinct animation style. The Grand Inquisitor's face is a whole lot thinner and taller, as the character is a Pau'an, which is known for their long limbs and thin heads.

Anyway, the Grand Inquisitor was a Jedi Knight who guarded a Jedi temple. However, he lost faith in the Jedi Order, and somehow survived Order 66. Palpatine recruited him to lead the Inquisitors.

These Inquisitors

Originally introduced in a Star Wars roleplaying game in the '80s and then revamped for the animated series Star Wars: Rebels, the Inquisitors are force-sensitive Jedi hunters. They are not Sith, but they work for the Sith--more specifically Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine of the Empire.

As of now, we know there are at least 10 of them, as many have appeared on Rebels or in the Fallen Order video game. In this scene, we see what looks to be the back of Fifth Brother, possibly Seventh Sister, and Inquisitor Reva--a character whose name breaks the mold of "Number" followed by "Brother/Sister." Reportedly, Reva's character is also called Third Sister, but that has yet to be confirmed, and what's strange about that is that there is already a Third Brother--mentioned in a Star Wars Encyclopedia--and typically, there's only one person for each number. However, that Encyclopedia piece could easily just be wiped from canon.

Owen Lars

Here's a good look at Joel Edgerton as Uncle Owen. You may know Edgerton from his previous work in The Green Knight or It Comes At Night. Owen is the stepbrother to Anakin Skywalker--Darth Vader--after Owen's dad married Anakin's mother. He lives on Tatooine and loves to farm moisture.

This droid

It wouldn't be a Star Wars show or movie without a cool, new droid. While we have no indication as to whether this robotic buddy will appear in anymore more than a singular scene, we do get to see a new droid in a brief shot as it's stared-down by a Stormtrooper.

More Grand Inquisitor

Here's another shot of the Grand Inquisitor. Of course, he's using his weapon of choices, which is a spinning dual lightsaber. If you've seen Rebels or played Fallen Order, you've seen this weapon many times.

Fifth Brother

The Fifth Brother was included in numerous episodes of Star Wars Rebels and issues of the Darth Vader comic. While it's not confirmed as of this writing that the character above is him, there's no other Inquisitor who wears a hat like that, so that's a safe bet. Fifth Brother worked a lot with Seventh Sister--and they butted heads a lot too. Fifth Brother also had some issues with Darth Maul, but we won't spoil any of that here. Go watch Rebels.
