From the Robert Pattinson Batman trailer to The Flash's new costume, here's everything important that happened at DC Fan
Over the weekend, DC FanDome proved to be the Comic-Con@Home that we all deserved--at least, as long as you're a fan of DC movies, shows, games, comics, and more. But don't worry if you missed it--the event lasted only the length of a single work day, then ran on repeat for 24 hours. DC and Warner Bros. made darn good use of that time, packing in tons of announcements, trailers, reveals, news, and more.
Luckily for you, we at GameSpot have compiled all the news worth knowing from DC FanDome. Catch up below and let us know what you're most excited for in the comments.
1. The Batman trailer
Undoubtedly the biggest news out of DC FanDome was the first trailer for Matt Reeves' The Batman--you know, the one starring Robert Pattinson. Watch the trailer here, then check out our frame-by-frame Batman trailer breakdown for every hard-to-spot nugget.
During the movie's discussion panel, Reeves revealed that it's a Batman year two story. He also debuted the film's logo and poster earlier in the week.
2. Zack Snyder's Justice League
Fans have been quite loudly demanding it for years, and during DC FanDome, we finally got a glimpse of Zack Snyder's Justice League, AKA "the Snyder cut." Snyder debuted a trailer for his version of Justice League, and revealed the shocking news that his cut will be four hours long when it debuts on HBO Max.

3. Wonder Woman 1984 trailer and the reveal of Cheetah
Ever since it was announced that Kristen Wiig will play Cheetah in the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel, Wonder Woman 1984, fans have been waiting to get a glimpse of the villain. Would Wigg's version of Barbara Ann Minerva literally transform into a cat, or would this be a looser interpretation? 4. Gotham City HBO Max series
The Batman director Matt Reeves also gave us some news on the Gotham City-set show he's working on for HBO Max. Check out the full update here.
5. Shazam 2 title reveal
During a Shazam 2 panel in which star Zach Levi lamented the fact that he couldn't say much about the movie itself, he was at least able to reveal the sequel's title: Shazam: Fury of the Gods.
6. The Flash Season 7 trailer
Over on the TV side of the DC multiverse, we got a new trailer for The Flash Season 7. Watch it at that link.
7. The (other) Flash's new costume
Speaking of the multiverse, the movie version of Barry Allen has a brand new costume, which star Ezra Miller revealed during another FanDome panel. The glimpse of the new costume also showed Flash teaming up with the version of Batman played by Michael Keaton in the 1989 film.
8. Black Adam news
During a panel for the in-production Black Adam movie, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson revealed that not only will the upcoming Black Adam movie feature both the titular Black Adam and the previously announced Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, but will also bring in several members of the Justice Society of America.
9. The Suicide Squad updates
The first Suicide Squad movie was one of the worst-received comic book adaptations in recent memory, but Warner Bros. has a do-over in the form of James Gunn's The Suicide Squad. We got some updates during FanDome, including the full character roster and cast reveal, and some intriguing specifics about John Cena's character. 10. The Titans are heading to Gotham
For another TV update, we learned where the Titans are headed in Season 3. Here's a hint: it's where Batman lives!
11. Sandman Netflix adaptation
We also got a surprise update on the Netflix adaptation of Neil Gaiman's classic Sandman comic. Gaiman revealed that production is picking up again after COVID-related delays, as well as some of the changes they're making to the story.
12. Gotham Knights
On the games side, WB Games Montreal finally lifted the veil on Gotham Knights, a co-op action game in which Bruce Wayne is dead. Instead, players assume the roles of Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl, and Red Hood.
13. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
Speaking of Batman video games, there was one more huge reveal. Rocksteady, the studio behind the beloved Arkham series of Batman games, introduced its next project: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which will continue the story begun in the Arkham series.
