San Diego Comic-Con may be different this year, but we can still marvel at the great cosplay we've seen in the past.
Comic-Con is different this year. The panels are being broadcast digitally across the world--meaning the convention's most exclusive events are now accessible to anyone with an internet connection and a screen. You might miss the bustle and fanfare of San Diego, or you might be glad to finally get to see panels for your favorite movies, shows, and comics in action. It certainly won't feel as special or exciting to anyone without the casts, filmmakers, and creators in the same room, but there are silver linings as well.
One thing we'll definitely be missing, though, is the cosplay. Without a mass gathering of like-minded nerds in San Diego this year, we're not going to get a chance to gawk at and admire the incredible creations of the talented cosplay community. We're sure cosplayers will be posting on social media all week, but once again, it's just not the same.
To tide us over, we're taking a look back at some of our favorite cosplay from Comic-Con years past. For example, here's the best DC cosplay we encountered last year at San Diego Comic-Con 2019.
Stay tuned to GameSpot this week for all the 2020 Comic-Con at Home coverage you can handle, including guides on exactly how to watch the most exciting panels, this year's exclusive Comic-Con Funko Pops, coverage of the biggest movies--like New Mutants and Bill and Ted Face the Music--and more.
