Fallout 76 Gets Some New Customization Options

You can't spend money on the Fallout 76 beta yet, but its premium currency shop is open.
Fallout 76 is full of players exploring the Wasteland on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and with its full launch has come a new aspect that players didn't see in its entirety in its beta: the Atomic Shop, Fallout 76's premium currency store. In it, you can purchase new threads for your Wastelander, emotes to communicate with other players, different skins for your Pip-Boy, and a lot more.
The Atomic Shop allows players to purchase a number of premium cosmetic customizations for their character and gear, using a currency called Atoms. You can earn Atoms in the game by completing various daily, weekly and worldwide challenges, or by purchasing them with real-world cash. When you have some Atoms radiation-burning a hole in your pocket, there's a lot you can choose from to spend them on. You can snag clothes for your Wastelander, unlock tattoos, change the skin of your Pip-Boy, and even add emotes to your bag of communication tricks, or poses to Photo Mode. There also are extra skins you can buy for your CAMP structures, to make your Wasteland home look a little less wasted.
The 500 or so Atoms some folks got as part of pre-orders of Fallout 76 won't get you far on the store, though. While the exchange rate for Atoms is better when you spend more money at once, at the lowest amount you can purchase, it shakes out to $1 per 100 Atoms--which means a lot of the items in the store will run you $5 or more. In fact, we worked out exactly how much it would cost to purchase everything.
Here's everything that's currently available for purchase in the Atomic Shop in Fallout 76, along with the prices in Atoms they sport, and what Atoms will cost you when you purchase them with real cash.
