During the November 19 weekend, Galloping Ghost Arcade held the first Kombat Kon outside of Chicago, Illinois. The Mortal Kombat event featured tournaments, prizes, the original MK arcade games, and members of the original cast of the video game franchise. Let's take a look at who we saw at the con and what they look like today.
John Parrish
John Parrish played Jax in Mortal Kombat 2, MK3, and Ultimate MK3.
John Turk
John Turk played all the ninjas and Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 3 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.
Daniel Pesina
Daniel Pesina played Johnny Cage, Sub-Zero, Reptile, and Scorpion in Mortal Kombat 1 & MK2. In addition, he also played Noob Saibot and Smoke in MK2.
Katalin Zamiar
Katalin Zamiar played Kitanna and Mileena in Mortal Kombat 2.
Phillip Ahn
Phillip Ahn played Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 2.
Carlos Pesina
Carlos Pesina played Raiden in Mortal Kombat and MK2.
John Vogel
John Vogel was one of the four people that developed the original Mortal Kombat game. He did the art and design for all the original games and now works for Netherrealm Studios continuing to work with the MK franchise.
